The Jimson weed is a highly poisonous ‘medicinal’ plant spread all over the world.

People have used this poisonous plant as a remedy for asthma and as a general analgesic. It is however full of atropin and scopolamine often in unpredictable concentrations which makes ‘medicinal’ and harmful/dadly doses hard to estimate.
Just because something is a natural herb based product it does not mean it is safe and harmless.

Since the plant grows all over the place on multiple continents people should at the very least recognize and avoid it.
