Nassarius Snail Spawning.

Nassarius snails are scavengers that eat food and dead tank inhabitants before they could decompose thus doing the marine aquarist a great service by keeping preventing decaying organic matter from fouling the water.

They usually live inside the sand bad and only come out to eat or at night, but sometimes they gather even in the daytime and if conditions are good they start spawning on any available surface.

Some people had success in raising their young, but I have only seen the eggs, never anything that even resembled a newborn Nassarius snail.
