The Körös Valley Visitor Center and Animal Park is located in Szarvas and it is part of the local national park/ nature reserve.
There are some animals on display, mostly local wild life. There are also various local herbs in gardens carefully labeled which one is which.
There are old riverbeds surrounding the area, already cut off the the main water flow, with flora and fauna of their own.
If someone does not want to walk a lot there are options to explore the animal park and the surrounding national park, there are bicycles and even canoes for rent at the visitor center.
