The Neofinetia falcata is an epiphytic orchid from East Asia.

Neofinetia falcata is often kept as a house plant. The specimen shown here serves as decoration in the tank of my Pyxie frog, just hanging on the side, attached to a piece of wood.
It is a fascinating plant, especially since I do not have much experience with orchids. I like to watch as the roots turn green when water touches them — I always use water purified by reverse osmosis to water spray the plant.
Like many orchids Neofinetia falcata will flower indoors.
