The blue spiny lizard is a beututiful species of iguana from Texas.
Blue spiny lizards are mostly insectivorous. There is an attempt to keep blue spiny lizards in captivity, but this species has not been successfully bred in captivity yet.
Unlike most lizard species, blue spiny lizards are viviparous and give birth to their young rather than laying eggs.
