The white trillium is a beautiful flower in the genus Trillium native to most of North America.
Trillium grandiflorum is the provincial emblem of Ontario and the state wild flower of Ohio.
Although it is a wild flower some people like to plant it in their garden but transplanting a trillium plant is a touch and go process. Double-flower cultivars — with an excess number of petals — do exist.
