The pygmy hippopotamus looks a lot like like its full sized cousin.

Pygmy hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis), Toronto Zoo.
The pygmy hippopotamus resembles the common hippopotamus in other ways as well, for example it is also semi-aquatic.
On the other hand the pygmy hippopotamus is a lot smaller than the common hippopotamus, about the size of a really large domestic pig. Unlike its cousin, the pygmy hippopotamus is not a bloodthirsty maniac and they try not to fight each other.
The pygmy hippopotamus is a vegetarian and it eats mostly leaves and fruits on dry land.
