In the news: Clinical trials are underway in Ottawa to use for the first time in the world a combination of two viruses to fight cancer.
The World Health Organization is once again in the news urging people to reduce the amount of sugar they eat.
Apparently the way to avoid peanut allergy is to start eating peanuts before one becomes allergic to them:
Finally the powers-that-be admitted that the cholesterol hysteria is just that: hysteria.
Horseshoe crabs are not really crabs, they more closely related to spiders.

Pork cracklings or pork rinds are fried pig skin and pig fat. They have a wonderful smell when they are fresh.
