Red river hog (Potamochoerus porcus<\/em>) in the Toronto Zoo<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

I took these pictures in the Toronto Zoo inside the African Rainforest Pavilion, although they are sometimes displayed outside (where the warthogs<\/a> were when I took their pictures).

Red river hog in a somewhat better lighting.<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n

Red river hogs eat like pigs (that is everything that can overpower) and do well in the wild.<\/p>\n

Red river hogs have excellent senses, particularly their hearing is very good — those long ears are useful for something.<\/p>\n
