Brine shrimps<\/a> are tiny little crustaceans that usually live in lakes with really high salt concentration.<\/p>\n

For some reason they are also called Sea Monkeys<\/a> — probably a clever marketing ploy.

\nThey are aquacultured and sold as fish food either alive, frozen or dried.<\/p>\n

Adult brine shrimps sort of look like creatures from a horror movie:<\/p>\n
