Bi bim bap means mixed rice in Korean.

\nIt is a bowl of rice often served in a hot stone pot (so that the rice becomes nice and crispy on the side where it touches the bowl) with vegetables, meat, an egg, and various sauces on top. Then the entire dish is mixed just before it is eaten.<\/p>\n
I was completely unfamiliar with this dish until I saw it on Masterchef where in one episode the contestents had to create their own version of Bi bim bap.<\/p>\n
