Because of its attractive coloration the green bottleblue tarantula is often kept as a pet by spider enthusiasts. Care is similar to other tarantula species, although the greenbottle blue tarantula, being a desert species, requires an unusually dry enclosure and can be harmed by excess moisture.<\/p>\n
