The wood turtle is the most colorful native turtle species in Ontario<\/a>.

The name would suggest that the wood turtle lives in woods, but in reality it is sort of semi-aquatic and lives to live in bogs and other wetland areas as well as in forests. The wood turtle is an omnivorous species that would eat things on dry land as well as in the water.<\/p>\n
