The Rhinoceros cockroach, also known as the giant burrowing cockroach is the heaviest cockroach in the world.

\nThe rhinoceros cockroach can weight as much as 35 grams and it is up to 8 centimeters long. The rhinoceros cockroach is native to Australia and mainly lives in the tropical areas of the continent. Rhinoceros cockroaches are wingless and they mostly live in the soil where they burrow several feet deep and eat dead plant matter thus helping to recycle it.<\/p>\n

People do keep rhinoceros cockroaches as pets, they are relatively undemanding and can live up to 10 years.<\/p>\n
