"Wolverine."

Wolverine (Gulo gulo), Szeged Zoo.

A wolverine is capable of killing and ripping apart prey much larger than itself. Superficially a wolverine looks like a cute little bear, but looks can be deceiving.

"Wolverine."

The wolverine is not a bear but a close relative of weasels, otters, skunks, polecats, ferrets, badgers and its similarly ferocious cousin the honey badger. Neither is a wolverine particularly cuddly and one should not try to pet a strange wolverine unless one enjoys being savagely mauled.

Wolverines live in the in the northern part of North America as well as in Northern Europe and Siberia.

Wolverines will kill and eat any animal they can overpower, which means most of them, including the young of other predators.

You definitely should NOT get a wolverine as a pet. It is highly unlikely that you can provide for the needs of a wolverine in your own home, and being a ferocious wild predator, your pet wolverine would be a constant danger to you, your children, your neighbors, and anyone who comes by.
