In nature desert hairy scorpions lives in deserts of the Southern part of the United States and in Mexico. The sting of the desert hairy scorpion is not particularly dangerous to humans, about as bad as a bee sting, but people who are allergic to its venom can be killed by a desert hairy scorpion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Although it is an aggressive scorpion, because the venom of the desert hairy scorpion is not particularly toxic to humans it is a popular species in the pet trade.<\/p>\n\"Desert<\/a>\n

In captivity desert hairy scorpions are usually fed crickets and other insects but int he wild they will eat small reptiles and even other scorpions.<\/p>\n
