The eastern cottontail rabbit is one of the most common rabbits in North America.

They are everywhere even inside densely populated areas such as Toronto. Rabbits, especially young ones, are cute little furry animals, but they multiply like rabbits and can cause rather serious damage by eating and chewing up various plants if their number gets out of control. The eastern cottontail rabbit is considered to be a pest by many because they eat crops.<\/p>\n Eastern cottontail rabbits are also hunted and eaten by humans.
