Kensington Gardens is the garden surrounding Kensington Palace in London<\/a>, England<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kensington Palace, the residence of several members of the Royal family. The gardens are open to the public and people can just walk around and enjoy the view. There is a museum in the place (you need to buy a ticket), but I did not have the time to go in. One could spend days in the garden alone and probably still would not see everything.<\/p>\n The statue of Queen Victoria.<\/p><\/div>\n The place looks rather modest for a building that is called a palace, the only sign that royals live there was the gilding on the wrought iron fence.<\/p>\n The gardens are supposed to be really the gardens around the palace, like your garden in your back yard but fit for a royal residence.<\/p>\n As the sun rose the park quickly filled with people and started to look normal to a European like myself the way places in North America never do.<\/p>\n There are lots of statues and sculptures and monuments<\/a> in the park.<\/p>\n A sculpture entitled Physical Energy<\/a><\/em>.<\/p><\/div>\n I also liked the idea that one can walk around in peace, and cyclists are required to dismount (which appears to be a common occurrence in London).<\/p>\n Kensington Gardens is the garden surrounding Kensington Palace in London, England. I have expected something more extravagant. It is a rather modest looking brick building, considering that some of the future rulers of the British Empire live there.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/a>
